Ele foi condenado a sete anos e 10 meses de pris\u00e3o por ter matado a pr\u00f3pria m\u00e3e, Maria Catarina de Souza, 57 anos, em mar\u00e7o de 2016, na Vila Esperan\u00e7a, em An\u00e1polis. Ela morreu decorrente de traumatismo craniano provocado por espancamento, ap\u00f3s ser atendida na Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Na \u00e9poca do crime, Wellington, que \u00e9 alc\u00f3olatra e usu\u00e1rio de drogas, foi preso temporariamente, mas foi colocado em liberdade para responder o processo. A senten\u00e7a condenat\u00f3ria definitiva foi proferida no \u00faltimo m\u00eas de setembro por les\u00e3o corporal seguida de morte.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Segundo o delegado Vander Coelho, por ter matado a m\u00e3e, os familiares expulsaram Wellington de casa.
