Em interrogat\u00f3rio, o autor afirmou que transitava em baixa velocidade e estava mexendo no aparelho de som de seu ve\u00edculo e, por essa raz\u00e3o, n\u00e3o viu o animal na pista. Tamb\u00e9m alegou que ficou em estado de choque e por isso n\u00e3o parou para prestar socorro.
