A Perita Criminal Lidiane A. P. Santana da Pol\u00edcia Cient\u00edfica do Estado de Goi\u00e1s \u2013 lotada na Se\u00e7\u00e3o de Homic\u00eddios do Instituto de Criminal\u00edstica Leonardo Rodrigues (ICLR\/SPTC) \u2013 teve artigo intitulado \u201cMedico-Legal Death Investigation Systems \u2013 Brazil\u201d (Sistemas de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o M\u00e9dico-Legal da Morte no Brasil, em tradu\u00e7\u00e3o livre) no Jornal de Medicina Forense do Sri Lanka (SLJFMSL).<\/p>\n

A SLJFMSL \u00e9 uma revista semestral (junho e dezembro de cada ano) publicada pelo Departamento de Medicina Forense da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Sua miss\u00e3o \u00e9 estimular, encorajar e capacitar pesquisadores a publicar trabalhos de alta qualidade, a fim de promover a pr\u00e1tica baseada em evid\u00eancias e fornecer uma plataforma para pesquisadores compartilharem experi\u00eancias e conhecimentos nas \u00e1reas de medicina forense, ci\u00eancias forenses, \u00e9tica m\u00e9dica e Lei.<\/p>\n

O artigo da Perita Criminal foca nos procedimentos de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o das Mortes Naturais e Violentas no Brasil, incluindo casos de Mortes Suspeitas e de v\u00edtimas n\u00e3o identificadas.<\/p>\n

A publica\u00e7\u00e3o deste semestre \u00e9 uma edi\u00e7\u00e3o especial sobre a Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o M\u00e9dico-Legal em todos os continentes habitados do mundo; sendo que foram publicados trabalhos sobre os sistemas de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o da Austr\u00e1lia, da B\u00e9lgica, do Brasil, do Canad\u00e1, da Inglaterra, de Hong Kong, da Holanda, da Nova Zel\u00e2ndia, da Pol\u00f4nia, da \u00c1frica do Sul, da Su\u00e9cia, da Dinamarca e de v\u00e1rios outros pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n
