O local abriga forma\u00e7\u00f5es geol\u00f3gicas raras e \u00e9 pr\u00f3ximo das cachoeiras do Cervo, do Desengano e do Sonho, que ficam de fora do territ\u00f3rio das unidades de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o. A unidade de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o abriga a Serra das Gal\u00e9s e a Serra da Portaria, duas forma\u00e7\u00f5es rochosas imponentes. Na Serra das Gal\u00e9s, fica localizada a Pedra do C\u00e1lice, que \u00e9 considerada o s\u00edmbolo do munic\u00edpio. A entrada \u00e9 gratuita.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Al\u00e9m da Pedra do C\u00e1lice, o local abriga ainda a Pedra dos Tr\u00eas Magos, a Pedra do \u00cdndio, a Pedra da Tartaruga e a Pedra do Chap\u00e9u. Pelo pouco movimento, o parque mostra-se bem conservado e \u00e9 o ambiente ideal para quem gosta de uma aventura na natureza.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Localiza\u00e7\u00e3o e acesso<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">O principal acesso ao Parque Estadual de Para\u00fana (PEPa) \u00e9 pela GO-411, pouco depois da sa\u00edda da cidade. Ap\u00f3s acessar a GO-411, a entrada da unidade de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o, indicada por placas, fica a cerca de 30 quil\u00f4metros da cidade. Para acessar as forma\u00e7\u00f5es geol\u00f3gicas abrigadas na unidade de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o, os visitantes precisam andar uma dist\u00e2ncia de aproximadamente um quil\u00f4metro a p\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>A localiza\u00e7\u00e3o do parque possui altitudes que variam entre 690 e 890 metros acima do n\u00edvel do mar.<\/p>\n<p><b>Objetivo<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">O principal objetivo do Parque Estadual de Para\u00fana \u00e9 guardar as serras das Gal\u00e9s e da Portaria. Al\u00e9m de constitu\u00edrem forte atrativo tur\u00edstico, os monumentos s\u00e3o parte da hist\u00f3ria da popula\u00e7\u00e3o local.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Visita\u00e7\u00e3o<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A entrada no Parque Estadual de Para\u00fana \u00e9 gratuita e o local \u00e9 aberto \u00e0 visita\u00e7\u00e3o.
