A Divis\u00e3o Regional do Brasil em mesorregi\u00f5es, partindo de determina\u00e7\u00f5es mais amplas a n\u00edvel conjuntural, buscou identificar \u00e1reas individualizadas em cada uma das Unidades Federadas, tomadas como universo de an\u00e1lise e definiu as mesorregi\u00f5es com base nas seguintes dimens\u00f5es: o processo social como determinante, o quadro natural como condicionante e a rede de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e de lugares como elemento da articula\u00e7\u00e3o espacial. De acordo com a Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o da Presid\u00eancia (PR) N\u00ba 11, de 5 de junho de 1990, Goi\u00e1s \u00e9 dividido em 5 mesorregi\u00f5es: Centro Goiano, Leste Goiano, Noroeste, Norte Goiano, Sul Goiano.<\/p>\n<style type=\"text\/css\">tr.over {\n\t\tcolor: #008bae;\n\t}\n\ttd.over2 {\n\t\tcolor: #008bae;\n\t\tcursor: pointer;\n\t\t_cursor: hand;
