Usually located inside the ticket office, it served to store, organize, and facilitate the handling of printed tickets.<\/p><p data-start=\"316\" data-end=\"501\">Made of wood, the\u00a0<em data-start=\"334\" data-end=\"346\">bilheteiro<\/em>\u00a0featured dividers and compartments that held tickets according to their destination, class (first or second), and type (one-way, return, or round trip).<\/p><p data-start=\"503\" data-end=\"755\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The Pires do Rio Railway Museum preserves four original examples of these ticket cabinets, dating from the 1920s to the 1950s.
