De acordo com o C\u00f3digo Penal e a Lei de Crimes Ambientais, provocar fogo em mata ou floresta sem a devida autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 crime ambiental, com penas que variam de dois a quatro anos de pris\u00e3o, al\u00e9m de aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de multa no valor de R$ 1 mil por hectare destru\u00eddo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Em entrevista ao <em>Jornal Brasil Central<\/em> desta ter\u00e7a-feira (27), o delegado Luziano Carvalho, titular da Delegacia Estadual do Meio Ambiente (Dema), disse que as for\u00e7as de seguran\u00e7a e demais \u00f3rg\u00e3os ligados \u00e0 prote\u00e7\u00e3o do meio ambiente est\u00e3o empenhados em investigar o que tem provocado os grandes focos de inc\u00eandio no estado.
